Question
How many current (permanent - NOT interim) Allan A Greenleaf students are in the small area between Hamilton St N and the base of the proposed boundary?
Question
Will there be an option for MH students in FI to go to GB for grade 6-8 instead of going up to FC?
Suggestion
My daughter is transitioning to gr 5 next year to FC from MH. Ideally....I would want her to stay until grade 8 now until she would go to WDHS. The kids who are transitioning early due to the boundary review should be grandfathered to stay. Instead of having to switch to the new school.
Question
Students currently at Mary Hopkins, transitioning for Grade 5 to FC and then the following year to the new school will be facing a lot of unnecessary transitions and emotional separations. What can be done to alleviate this? Optional attendance for this who have already switched to middle school at FC? Would bussing be available - FC is an unreachable school by foot? Should the MH boundaries be reviewed beyond the strict line of Dundas? There are already children crossing from North of Dundas for the Catholic school in the Mountain Brow area. Could crossing guards ease the restriction of these boundaries and address actually student numbers?
